I’m Alejandro Medina, founder of Stone Block Canada Ltd. and a proud third-generation stone fabricator. My goal is to bring fresh, high-quality stone materials and new design possibilities to the Canadian market, using our rail network and trade agreements to deliver unmatched value and selection. I’m also working toward starting local fabrication in Alberta as early as 2026.

Stone Block Canada exists to become Western Canada’s most trusted and innovative stone partner—where architects, builders, designers, and retailers know they can find distinctive materials, reliable supply, and smart fabrication under one roof. Our vision is to use efficient rail logistics and strong trade relationships to bring a broader range of quality stone into the Canadian market, while keeping pricing competitive and delivery consistent, even for large projects.
By 2026, we aim to establish a modern fabrication hub in Alberta, transforming raw slabs into finished countertops, flooring, wall cladding, and custom furniture. We see Stone Block Canada as more than a distributor: a long-term partner that helps clients plan, source, and execute projects with confidence, combining three generations of stone experience with a fresh, modern approach to service, design, and logistics.
